Heart of Riding is expanding, while saying goodbye to Great Strides

Great Strides has been sold! The last horses moved out yesterday, to lovely Harwood Farm in Woodbine. They seem happy and while it is bittersweet to say goodbye to Great Strides, I am excited about all the possibilities of the new places I’m going.

I will resume teaching on those school horses in a few weeks, but only for those who can’t come to my Frederick location easily. Harwood is gorgeous, but there is no indoor arena, so lessons there will be limited by the weather. I will be teaching there one day per week.

The rest of my lessons on school horses will be held at Topline Equestrian Center in Frederick, where there is not only an indoor but two outdoor arenas, one of which is an Olympic size dressage arena with not a single jump in it. I will be there 4 days per week.

I will also be continuing to travel to teach, in Spencerville, Damascus, and Ellicott City, with availability to travel to teach anywhere between Annapolis and Frederick.

Thanks all for your patience during these growing pains, I’m looking forward to more great learning and riding, one lesson at a time.
